Primary Care Clinic
Primary Care Clinic of North Texas is a 501(c)(3) non-profit healthcare facility that provides medical care to uninsured adults. The Irving DFW Indian Lions Club Foundation opened the clinic in 2003 in Lewisville, Texas, and because of the huge patient demand, opened another location in Plano, Texas in February 2007.
Since its inception in July 2003, the clinic has cared for patients from many North Texas cities. The services of this clinic enables the uninsured in our communities easier access to medical care resulting in early diagnosis and therefore a better outcome.
The clinic has seen a substantial growth in terms of number of patient-visits. It has over 40,000 visits since its inception; more than 10,000 visits during the last 12 months.
The following short video from 2011 will give an overview of the clinic’s operation.
